The official description only says to be careful when night falls. The clock times and the button prompts come from guides that quote the on-screen text. I have not timed a night myself, and one of those guides admits the real-time length is unknown.

Guides say the outdoor tell is the screen dimming or filling with static, and the indoor tell is a dark shape at the window. A filled Fries Shooter is said to knock the window figure back. There is a conflict on whether that machine also serves customers. I keep that fight on the upgrades page.

You can keep frying after dark, according to the night guide. Do not serve a customer whose face is wrong. Power loss stops every automatic machine, so income drops to whatever you can do by hand until the box says FIXED! and POWER BACK!

sellfries.org places the Giant in Hard Mode from night two. That is a community report, not a verified spawn rule. AllThingsHow also describes its beam circles but does not establish that mode restriction. Mode-entry steps remain unverified; see the Giant page before planning around it.

Length of the night. No page I read gives a real-world minute count for 8 PM to 8 AM. I am not going to invent one. Some nights, the same guide says, produced no ghost at all.
